Healthcare Staffs are more exposed to COVID19 than anyone else. At the front line, these workers are dealing with the patients who are affected by COVID-19; and thus, specific measures need to be made to protect them from this disease.
They are also at risk due to many hazards. The hazards include – pathogen exposure, long working hours, psychological distress, fatigue, and many more.
To contribute to their well being and safety, a professional, Ms. Eileen Martin, made Masks from Scraps. She had been collecting fabric to address the issue of the scarcity of face masks for health care workers and distributed 3000+ masks to date. Here is what she shared:
